Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care

United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, is accepting applications for a tenure-track or tenured position in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care, to begin July 1, 2022. The successful candidate will hold a terminal degree in a relevant field (e.g., pastoral care, pastoral theology, pastoral counseling, chaplaincy, spiritual formation) by the time the position begins. This person will initiate and administer master’s and doctoral programs in chaplaincy and serve as liaison with CPE sites. CPE experience or extensive experience in some other form of chaplaincy is highly desirable. Commitment to preparing Christian leaders through United’s core values--historic faith, scriptural holiness, and church renewal--is essential.
